Traction Rec welcomes new VP, Professional Services, Asti Tracy

We’re excited to announce that Asti Tracy is joining Traction Rec as our new VP, Professional Services. Asti's arrival marks an exciting chapter in our journey as we continue to grow. Her expertise in Salesforce, combined with her commitment to driving our services forward, will help us continue delivering value and impact to our customers.

Driving growth through customer-centric services

Asti will be responsible for leading the Professional Services team, overseeing the variety of services that empower our customers to maximize their use of Traction Rec. With her robust background, proven leadership, and innate curiosity, we have no doubt that she will be a great customer advocate.

In her new role, Asti is eager to build on existing best practices within Traction Rec in order to expand service offerings and foster deeper relationships with our customers. By leveraging her Salesforce expertise, she will ensure our customers benefit from gaining a more personalized experience with Traction Rec.

A career spent in the Salesforce ecosystem

Asti’s entire career has been within the Salesforce ecosystem. In the beginning, she was set on a technological track before moving over to the customer side. Her familiarity with the platform will be instrumental in guiding our Professional Services team. Asti has worked with Salesforce at every level, from implementation to executive decision-making.

Prior to landing at Traction Rec, Asti was at Slalom for over a decade in various capacities. She points to being there during a time of growth as not unlike what’s going on at Traction Rec right now. Asti is excited for this next phase for the organization.

“I really hope to build on the amazing things that have already been established here. As we continue to grow and build, we’ll also get a chance to reflect internally. Making sure people have the right tools to scale to that next level.”

Commitment to empowering community-focused organizations

As we welcome Asti to Traction Rec, we are also pleased to share that she joins a senior leadership team that is 70% women with Lara Gilchrist at the helm as CEO. This was a big attractor for Asti as a working mother of two young children herself.

In her leisure time, Asti spends her summers by or on the ocean, including fishing, and her winters snowboarding. With her values aligned to Traction Rec and our customers, combined with her outdoor pursuits, Lara says she'll fit right in.

"Asti’s priority of understanding the customer’s needs instantly endeared her to our team because that’s how we think about our customers. We love to spend time at community centers but when you deep dive into what else they do it’s pretty inspiring, and she leans into that."
